Filmmaking is the inspiration for getting behind the camera. It requires wearing lots of hats at the indie level and is a great way to meet new creatives and work on your craft. When I work with couples I think of the wedding as a character among many character's, where the story is you and I want to learn how did you meet, what get's you excited, what are some of your goals and aspirations. This will guide me through the creative process. It's easy to get lost in the coverage, hours, different packages and all the planning and logistics a wedding entails. But at the end of the day, I am a storyteller and I really enjoy working with clients who are excited to share their amazing adventure.
When I'm not working you can find me practicing my handstand. (We spend a lot of wedding day on our feet, we tend to forget how heavy our camera rigs can get) and you can also find me in the kitchen trying out a recipe or studying a new chess opening.
